وفق سياسة تشديد الحصار على المناطق المحاصرة تتزايد معاناة المدنيين بتزايد الأسعار الناتجة عن الأوضاع العسكرية، فلم يعد العنف المسلح وحده ما يشكل خطراً على حياة المدنيين.
استهدفت قوات التحالف منتصف شهر سبتمبر/تموز الماضي عدداً من الجسور التي تشكل شرياناً حيوياً لربط مناطق المحافظة ببعضها البعض، وقد نقل موقع حملة “دير الزور تذبح بصمت” خبراً عن استهداف طيران التحالف لجسر السكة في محيط قرية أبو حمام وجسر الري في ناحية أبو الخاطر وجسر على الطريق العام الواصل بين قرية هجين وأبو الحسن وجسر بين السوسة والشعفة وجسر في ناحية الهري.
يأتي استهداف قوات التحالف لجسور دير الزور فيما يبدو أنه ضمن خطة الحملة الهادفة لإخراج قوات تنظيم الدولة (داعش) من الموصل في العراق، حيث بين عدد من المحللين والحقوقيين من بينهم المحامي “نبيل الحلبي” أن خطة تحرير الموصل من داعش هي دفعهم باتجاه الأراضي السورية.
وقد نشر موقع حملة “دير الزور تقتل بصمت” لائحة بآخر أسعار المواد الغذائية والأساسية المتوفرة في الأحياء المحاصرة، وتبين اللائحة ارتفاعاً كبيراً في أسعار السلع.
وصل سعر كيلو الثوم إلى 30 ألف ليرة ويباع في الأسواق بالغرامات بما يعادل 25 ضعفاً من سعره في البلدان المجاورة لسوريا، كما شهدت الأحياء نقصاً حاداً في الخبز نتيجة فقدان الوقود وتوقف الأفران عن العمل في أغلب الأوقات.
تأثرت عملية نقل البضائع في مناطق سيطرة تنظيم داعش بسبب استهداف الجسور، وتقوم داعش بدورها في حصار مناطق سيطرة قوات النظام الذي يساهم بدوره في زيادة المعاناة ضمن الأحياء المحاصرة من خلال استغلال متسلطي النظام وشبيحته على الأسواق، بالإضافة إلى سرقة المساعدات الإغاثية وبيعها في الأسواق بأسعار مرتفعة.

يدعم الطيران الروسي قوات النظام المحاصرة في المدينة بمساعدات تلقى عبر الجو، ومن بين المساعدات شحنات من الوقود، وبحسب شهود أكدوا أنه وللمرة الثانية تسقط احدى شحنات الوقود الملقاة من الطيران الروسي بيد تنظيم الدولة.
