من خلال البحث عن توفر الأدوية ونوعيتها وأسعارها في المناطق الشمالية من سوريا، تبين لنا أن أهم الأدوية شبه مفقودة، وتحديداً منها الأدوية الخاصة بالأمراض المزمنة كالسكر والضغط والربو، بينما تتوفر بشكل عام المسكنات والمهدئات وبأسعار رخيصة، ويمكن إيجاد مثل هذه الأدوية خارج الصيدليات ليتم استخدامها بشكل اعتيادي، ورغم أهمية المسكنات والمهدئات في المناطق الساخنة نتيجة زيادة الإصابات بين المدنيين، إلا أن تداول الأدوية بين غير المختصين أصبح له وجه آخر ليتم استخدام هذه الأدوية بطريقة سيئة، وبشكل خاص بين الشباب العاملين في النقاط الطبية ممن تطوعوا دون سابق خبرة أو أدنى معرفة بالمعلومات الطبية.
