قسّم عالم الاجتماع الفرنسي إيميل دوركهايم البنى الاجتماعية إلى ميكانيكية وعضوية. الأفراد في المجتمع الميكانيكي -والذي انتشر في مجتمعات ما قبل الثورة الصناعية- لديهم نفس الوظائف والمسؤوليات، مما يشير إلى تقسيم منخفض للعمل. فالكل يقوم بذات الوظائف؛ الكل يقوم بالزراعة والرعي، والعجن والخبز، وتعليم أطفالهم وخياطة الثياب. الكل يمكنه نوعاً ما الاستغناء عن كل الباقين عن أفراد المجتمع، لكنه في ذات الوقت محكوم بقوانين تلزمه بالتماهي الكامل والانصهار في مجتمعه. فلا يمكن لأجزاء من ذلك أن تعمل بشكل مستقل إذا تم الحفاظ على الانسجام والترابط الكلي. وعلى الفرد في المجتمع الميكانيكي تكرار كافة الأعمال التي يقوم بها كل أفراد ذلك المجتمع، وإلا فإنه لن يأكل ولن تستمر حياته.
أما الترابط العضوي فهو قائم على التمايز في الوظائف والمهام بين أفراد المجتمع، فكل فرد يقوم بعمل مختص نيابة عن باقي أعضاء المجتمع، وبالتالي هو جزء من بنية متراكبة، ودوره هام في عمل المجتمع ككل، فإن توقف عن أداء ذلك الدور أثر ذلك على باقي المجتمع. وبالتالي هذا التخصص في العمل من جهة أدى إلى ضرورة العمل الجماعي من جهة أخرى، تماماً مثل التمايز الذي تقوم به خلايا جسم الإنسان فتختص كل منها بوظيفة معينة، بعد أن كانت الكائنات البكتيرية “الميكانيكية” وحيدة الخلية تقوم بكامل الوظائف في تلك الخلية المستقلة. يعتمد الفرد في المجتمع العضوي على مجتمعه، على الرغم من كونه مستقلاً، وبالتالي يصبح المجتمع متكاملاً ومتماسكاً، والعمل في هذا المجتمع جماعي بالضرورة. بعكس الفرد في المجتمع الميكانيكي، الذي يضطر إلى العمل الفردي المتكرر والمضنى، وإلى التماهي الكامل والانصهار في ذلك المجتمع من أجل البقاء.
لقد كان المجتمع السوري مجتمعاً ميكانيكياً بحق، حتى جاءتنا أمواج الربيع العربي. ظل المجتمع السوري لعقود طويلة مجتمعاً منفرطاً يكاد يخلو من الروابط العملية والتنظيمية بين أفراده. لقد أدخلتنا الثورة السورية في تجربة اختبرت بُنَانا الاجتماعية وانتخبتها. تبين لنا أن أي نواة من العمل المبني على التعاون والتكامل هو العمل الذي بوسعه خلق الحلول والمخارج. لقد بدأنا -وللمرة الأولى- من المغامرة في العمل الجماعي مع بعضنا.
ما زال تحولنا هذا إلى العمل الاجتماعي في أطواره المبكرة؛ فبالكاد انتقلنا من العمل الفردي الذي اعتدنا عليه طوال حياتنا إلى التجمع في فرق صغيرة والعمل بشكل جماعي، تجاربنا المتواضعة هذه لم تكن يسيرة ولم تنضج بعد، لكنها بلا شك طوق نجاتنا الوحيد في العاصفة التي قلبت كوننا رأساً على عقب منذ ربيع 2011.
ثمار هذا العمل الجماعي “العضوي” بدأت تظهر في بعض الفرق والمنظمات الأهلية التي نراها اليوم في المشهد السوري، فرق مثل فريق ملهم التطوعي وغيرها استطاعت القيام بما عجزت عنه دول بأكملها. الفضل موصول لكل من آمن بهذا الفريق وهذا النوع من العمل دون شك. وما زلنا نشاهد -على الجانب الآخر- فداحة الفشل في العمل الجماعي الميكانيكي حولنا في كل مكان. من التشكيلات السياسية السورية المعارضة ذات القيمة الصفرية في أثرها ونتائجها، إلى الآلاف من المنظمات الأهلية والشركات والأعمال التي يقوم بها آلاف “الأبو حميدات” المتفردون بشكل مكرر وممل و معدوم الأثر.
إن العمل الجماعي يصاحبه نمو أسّي؛ بمعنى أن اجتماع اثنين لا يصدر عنه فقط نتاج عمل اثنين، واجتماع خمسة أشخاص ينتج عنه عمل أكبر بكثير مما قد ينتجه شخص واحد في خمسة حيوات. واحد زائد واحد يساوي أكثر من إثنين. 1+1+1+1+1 = 16. قدرتنا على التشارك في الهدف والتكامل في العمل هي السبيل الوحيد لرأب الصدع الذي خلقته هذه الحرب في واقعنا التعليمي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي والسياسي. علينا أن نراهن على أنفسنا وأن نثق بأن “المجازفة” بالوثوق بغيرنا ممن يشاركنا حالنا ووجهتنا هي استثمار رابح، وإن خيبت مراجينا في بعض الأحيان. وإلى أن نصل يوماً إلى تجمع مليوني حقيقي يقلب هذا الواقع المؤلم؛ يبقى أملنا “منا وفينا”.
