قبل الثورة السورية بسنوات قليلة أفرغ شاب صغير بندقية صيده في جثة شقيقه، بعد أن تحصنّ الأخير في أحد محال الجيران.
لم يقم أحد من الجيران بنجدة أو مساعدة المصاب بالرغم من استغاثته وهروبه وتنقله بين أسطح الجيران طلباً للحماية والإغاثة، قبل أن يسقط أخيراً، وفي جسده سبع طلقات في أماكن عدة.
صاحب المحل، وخوفاً من أن يتم إغلاق محله بسبب التحقيقات والتعقيدات الأخرى، سارع على الفور إلى إلقاء الجثة خارجاً، وبقيت هناك حوالي ساعة من الزمن ريثما حضرت دوريّة الشرطة.

أثناء الاعتقال جاء رجال الشرطة لبيتنا لاصطحاب والدي معهم بصفته مختاراً للحي، ويجب أن تتم بعض الإجراءات بحضوره.
أخبرنا أبي لاحقاً بأنه حين سأل القاتل لمَ فعلت ذلك؟ أجابه: “لو لم أقتله لقتلني”!
في ذلك المساء تعارك الشقيقان في محل الحلاقة؛ وقف الأصغر (القاتل) خارج المحل، وراح يصرخ بعلو صوته، حاول الجيران عقد الصلح بينهما، لكن ذلك لم ينجح؛ فالعائلة لها تاريخ معروف جيدًا بالنزاعات.
أكثر ما يؤلم في هذه الحادثة ويرسم علامة استفهام، كان صمت أبناء الحارة حول القاتل، وعدم تقديم يد المساعدة.
بعد الحادثة ولمدة عام أو أكثر، لم أستطع ولو لمرة أن أعود إلى ذلك الزقاق. شعرت بحزن وحقد وغضب على كل سكانه، وذلك لما صدر عنهم من تجاهل لتلك المذبحة!
هذا هو العنف المتخفي الذي رأيناه فيما بعد في سوريا..
الجُرأة على الدم!
الجرأة على الموت!
تحكي الكتب الدينية عن أول جريمة حدثت في التاريخ.
لقد قام قابيل بقتل أخيه وهو نائم، ويُقال إنّ حادثة القتل هذه قد حدثت في جبل (قاسيون) المطلّ على دمشق، وبهذا يكون هابيل أوّل من قُتل على سطح الأرض.
لم يعرف قابيل كيف يواري جثّة أخيه، وقرّر أن يحمله في جراب على ظهره حائراً ومضطرباً لا يعلم ما يفعل، إلى أن بعث الله تعالى غرابين يقتتلان، فقتل أحد الغرابين نظيره، وقام بعمل حفرةٍ في التّراب بمنقاره ليواري فيها جثّة الغراب الآخر ويخفيها تحت التّراب.
ومن هذا المشهد تعلّم قابيل متأثّراً ومستشعراً بشيء من الحسرة و النّدم، فقام بحفر حفرةٍ لأخيه ودفن جثّته تحت التّراب.
هذه الحسرة لم تقترب من القاتل في قصتنا، لأنه كان يعرف بأن شقيقه كان سيقتله لو تمكن منه!
على مقربة من قاسيون وتحت أرض دمشق، التي شهدت أول جريمة في التاريخ، مات ويموت الآلاف من السوريين ممن لم يجدوا من يدفنهم، لم يجدوا من يخرج في جنازاتهم ويشيّعهم.
في كتاب عالم بلا خرائط لـ”عبدالرحمن منيف، وجبرا إبراهيم جبرا” يتحدث المؤلفان عن جريمة حدثت في مكان ما، عن قتل صار في مكان ما، عن ظلم في مكان ما، في عالم ممكن أن تقع إسقاطاته السياسية والاجتماعية والفنية على أي بقعة في البلاد العربية:
“القتل هناك في عزّ النهار، في عزّ الشمس، قتل مجاني..
روح سادية شريرة جاهلة.
القتل الأحمق الأعمى الشرس المجنون.
قتل النساء، الأطفال، المرضى، الجرحى، الممرضات، الأطباء.
أن تطلق عليهم الرشاشات من أيدي أناس حقيقين بشر مثلنا، أن يقتلوا بإصرار ببرود، بعمى.
أوه والعالم، طز على هذا العالم، كله يتفرج وهو ساكن صامت، وكأن لا شيء يعنيه.
مؤامرة صمت مجرمة، قذرة، تستمر ولا تنتهي.
وضجيج الآخرين حول قضايا أبسط بآلاف المرات يملأ الدنيا.
كيف يمكن إلا أن أكون مع القتلى، مع الضحايا، إلى أن يكف الرعب، إلى أن تنتهي الوحشية، إلى أن يسمع صوت الحق المخنوق؟
إلى أن تعود إلى البشر إنسانيتهم، إن كانت ستعود”.
يتحدث علم النفس عن الميول والانفعالات بأنها أصل الشر، يقول فرويد بأنه لا يجب محاربتها بل يجب ترويضها حتى تستقيم وتمشي في نسقها الاجتماعي والأخلاقي، تأطيرها وتشذيبها، وهذا ما فعله العرف والقانون لاحقاً، وإن تفاوتت درجات تطبيقه.
ما يحدث في عالم الغربان مختلف تماماً؛ فالمعروف عن الغربان أنها تتصرف بشكل غريب حول الطيور النافقة من نفس جنسها، فهي تجتمع حولها وتصيح بصوت عالٍ.
طبعاً افترض الكثيرون فكرة مفادها أن ذلك جزء من طقوس جنائزية تقوم بها هذه الطيور، ويُعرف أيضاً عن الفيلة والزرافات وقرود الشمبانزي والعديد من طيور فصيلة الغرابيات أنها تبقى قريبة من أقرانها النافقة حديثاً لفترة ما، لكن قابيل البشري لم يفعل ذلك، لقد قام ببساطة برمي الجثة إلى الرصيف ووقف مع حشد من سكان الحيّ يطالع دمائها النازفة والثقوب التي ملأت الجسد، ريثما حضر رجال الشرطة وقاموا بعملهم!
يتحدث علماء الطيور عن حقيقة معروفة وهي أن الغربان لا تنسى وجه من يُشكل تهديداً لها، فقد تم اكتشاف ذلك من خلال عدة تجارب.
كما أن هذه الغربان تملك جرأة لمهاجمة النسور، ويتحدث الناس عن أن الغربان حيوانات وقحة، جريئة وشجاعة وبأنها تحتفي بميتها بطقس أشبه بالعزاء.
بكل ما للسواد من مهابة تفعل الطيور ذلك.
