ماذا لو عاد الكواكبي؟

تمر في هذه الأيام التي أكتب بها هذا المقال الذكرى التاسعة عشر بعد المئة لوفاة واحد من أهم مفكري القرن التاسع عشر، ولا نجافي الحقيقة إذا قلنا ربما هو أهم مفكري العرب في العصر الحديث.
ولد المفكر العظيم عبد الرحمن الكواكبي في حلب سنة 1855، وهو من عائلة مشهورة وتعد من أشراف العوائل فيها؛ فقد كان الكواكبي، وبمدرسته التي تأسست باسمه، رائداً من رواد العلوم والمعرفة، وأضيف الصحافة أيضاً. فبعد أن بدأ حياته الصحفية محرراً في جريدة الفرات الرسمية التي كانت تصدر في حلب، لم يجد بعمله فيها متسعاً وهامشاً من الحرية اللازمة لتعرية الاستبداد وفضح المستبدين؛ فهي صحيفة رسمية تعبر عن رأي الدولة، فاستقال منها ليؤسس مجلة الشهباء التي لم تعمر طويلاً، لعدم تحمل السلطة جرأته في النقد، فأسس بعدها مجلة أخرى سمّاها الاعتدال، لتنال بعد فترة ما نالته أختها الشهباء من تعتيم، فإغلاق.
سافر عبد الرحمن الكواكبي إلى مصر هارباً بنفسه وعقله وفكره، لكنه لم يكن فيها أحسن حالاً ولا حظاً؛ فكانت نهايته بفنجان قهوة مسموم، أودى بحياته وأنهاها، لكنها لم تستطع أن تنهي أعماله وفكره الباقي والحافل بالمقالات وإصدارات الصحف والكتب، وأخص منها كتابه الأشهر (طبائع الاستبداد ومصارع الاستعباد) والتي تتردد صدى كتاباته فيها حتى الآن كقوله:
“أسير الاستبداد لا يملك شيئاً ليحرص على حفظه، لأنه لا يملك مالاً غير معرض للسلب، ولا شرفاً غير معرض للإهانة”.
وقوله: “والاستبداد مفسد للدين في أهم تسمية أي الأخلاق، أما العبادات فلا يمسها، لأنها تلائمه أكثر”.
ولعل قائل يقول: هذا كلام عظيم اعتدنا قراءته وسماعه، ودائماً ما تضج به مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في هذه الأيام، فما الجديد وما علاقة موضوع المقال بما قلت؟
فيكون جوابي باستحضار روح الكواكبي في أعماله، وأخص فيها شروط الخلاص من الاستبداد، والتي يفصلها بقوله:
“ • الأمة التي لا يشعر كلها أو أغلبها بآلام الاستبداد لا تستحق الحرية.
• لا يقاوم الاستبداد بالشدة وإنما باللين والتدرج.
• يجب قبل مقاومة الاستبداد تهيئة ماذا يستبدل به الاستبداد”.
فلو عاد الكواكبي ورأى ما نحن عليه اليوم، فأنا أكيد بأنه سيأوي لأي جزيرة نائية لتكون مقراً لمنفاه الاختياري، حتى ينتهي هذا الجنون، أو كنا سنراه حادّ الطّباع، صعبَ المراس، سريع الغضب، منبهاً هذا، متخاصماً مع ذاك، من دون طائل أو سامع.. فلا خصوم الاستبداد كانوا متدرجين لينين في مطالبهم، ولا مؤيدوه أدركوا آلامه أو شعروا بها.. إلا من رحم ربي.
