كإنسانة سورية عايشت مجريات الأحداث خلال السنوات الست الماضية، لا شيء قادر على استفزازي أكثر من الكلام المكرر لسياسيين وناشطين سوريين حول “أخطاء” أوباما، أو ضعفه وتردده في اتخاذ القرارات تجاه ما يحدث في سوريا.
هي “أخطاء” و”ضعف” و”تردد” فقط من منظور المخدوعين من المثقفين ومن النخب السياسية السورية، أما من منظور الواقع والمصالح الأميركية ومصالح حلفائها في المنطقة فهي على الإطلاق ليست أخطاءً.. هم يحققون ما يريدون بلا خسائر وبلا تورط مباشر، وبالطبع بلا أدنى شعور بالذنب أو التعاطف مع الضحايا والمعتقلين والمهجرين من المدنيين السوريين، فما خلا مشاعر القلق التي كانت تساور الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بان كيمون بين حين وآخر، لا مكان للعواطف في حساب السياسات الدولية.
ولا تتعلق القرارات في الدول الديموقراطية بميول الرئيس أو نزواته، فمن يدير الولايات المتحدة إدارة وليس فرد، وهي تستند في ذلك إلى مؤسسات وتقارير وبحوث ومراكز متخصصة إضافة إلى جماعات الضغط التي لا نبرع في تنظيمها نحن العرب مهما ازدادت أعدادنا، وبالمحصلة لا تتخذ القرارات إلا وفق مصالح الدولة، أو بتعبير أدق وفق مصالح الرأسمال المتحكم في عجلات الحياة الأميركية، وبالطبع مصالح الحلفاء وعلى رأسهم “إسرائيل” والأنظمة القمعية التابعة في الشرق الأوسط.
وبناء عليه، فإنه لمن المثير للعجب أن يعلق سياسيون ومثقفون سوريون آمالهم على وصول كلينتون أو غيرها إلى الرئاسة. فما كانت ستفعله كلينتون للقضية السورية سيفعله منافسها ترامب الذي أمسى رئيساً اليوم، وسوف يتابع بكل أمانة طريق سلفه أوباما في إدارة الحرب المستمرة في سوريا بشكل خفي وصولاً إلى تحلل سوريا الكامل وسهولة تقسيمها من جديد ضمن توازن المصالح القائم، آخذاً بعين الاعتبار كما صرح مراراً المصالح الإسرائيلية أولاً.
ولا أظن أن التدخل الروسي السافر في المعضلة السورية يقع خارج سيطرة الإرادة الأمريكية. الولايات المتحدة تستخدم إلى حد كبير الجلافة الروسية لتسوية الأرض لحل قادم، للجميع حصة فيه إلا السوريين أصحاب القضية.
هو درس أرادوا له جميعاً أن يكون قاسياً، ليس للسوريين فقط، إنما لكل الشعوب المقموعة التي تطمح إلى حياة تليق بالبشر.
يبدو أن قيم الحرية والعدالة والديموقراطية والكرامة لا تتسع للجميع، وسوف تبقى إلى أجل غير معلوم حكراً على الشعوب المتقدمة التي تعتقد أن أمنها وثرائها ورغد عيشها رهناً بتأخر الآخرين وضعفهم.
